whether in classrooms, on the playground or on fieldtrips you
will find gifts that allow Abiqua to thrive: gifts to the Annual
Fund, gifts of time and energy. These acts of generosity help
limit Abiqua’s reliance on tuition and help sustain its
exceptional approach to education.
When you make a gift, large or small, you are saying, “Let me do
my part to ensure that our teachers have the resources and peace
of mind they need to do their magic. Let me show my appreciation
for Abiqua by helping to make it financially secure.” Keep these
thoughts in mind when you consider your role at Abiqua.

Ways To Give
Annual Campaign
The Annual Campaign takes place
during November and December of each year. Parent and Alumni
participation in the Annual Campaign is often used by outside
credit and funding organizations to measure a school community’s
commitment to the school. Unlike other fundraisers (auction,
gift wrap, candy sales, etc.) which can be camouflaged as a way
of buying goods and services and therefore persuade people to
give without really thinking about it, the Annual Campaign
participation rate reflects how a school population acts when it
is asked to support the school – directly and consciously. The
more commitment we can prove, the better our chances of winning
outside grants. The more outside funding we win, the less
dependent we are on the parent population for fundraising and
the more opportunities we can offer our students. It's a
wonderful chain of events that can be launch by high annual
campaign participation. This is why we focus on 100%
participation in the Annual Campaign. As a member of the Abiqua
community, we hope you understand this fundraising reality and
do your part each year.
